Summer 2026

Boulder, Colorado

Connection. Creativity. Community.

A creative commons and social hub in Boulder, Colorado, designed for real-world connection in a world that keeps pulling us apart.

North of Ordinary is a membership-based community space where people can gather, create, co-work, attend meaningful events, and simply exist together.

Part neighborhood living room, part open studio, part social club. This is a space for people who are craving something more grounded, intentional, and alive.

We’ve been missing places like this.

So much of modern life happens alone.
Working alone. Creating alone. Scrolling alone. Existing beside people instead of with them.

North of Ordinary is being built as an antidote to disconnection.

A place where:

  • conversations happen naturally

  • creativity feels accessible

  • community becomes part of everyday life

  • you can show up exactly as you are

Whether you come to make art, read in a cozy chair, attend a workshop, meet new people, work quietly near others, or just drink tea and exist around community, you belong here.

What you’ll find here

  • Open studio & creative space

  • Cozy coworking and community tables

  • Social nights & phone-free gatherings

  • Bad Art Club and low-pressure creative events

  • Workshops rooted in practical skills & community care

  • Coffee, tea, and a welcoming atmosphere

  • Community access nights for local organizers and groups

  • Live music, artist features, and collaborative projects

  • A slower, more human way to spend time

Community should not be a luxury.
